The targeting pod plus the cruise missiles make it the best fixed wing plane to destroy pantsir. Best CAS jet in the game.

Its just too bad that France tech trees mostly suck so I am never getting it.

MICA is an acronym [Missile d’Interception, de Combat et d’Auto-défense (lit. 'Missile for Interception, for Combat and for Auto-Defense' or 'Interception, Combat and Self-protection Missile')], so it is pronounced with a french "I", wich sounds like an "E" in english

This thing is actually nutty against Pantsirs. You just can’t sit at a distance like most top tier CAS. As counterintuitive as it sounds, with the FM this thing has, in tandem with the recent missile nerfs, you can easily dance around Pantsir missiles and bleed the missiles of speed. Bawz has a great video of how to do it

Everyone always says that top tier air is boring as hell and just point and click simulator, but I really enjoy watching missiles fly around and find their targets and those PGMs fit right in line with that too.

the PGM are bombs but we equiped them with a booster to improve their range of action, we even modernized them and equiped them on the rafale

From what I know it can actually carry 6 MICA, along with 2 Magic 2's. 4 MICA under the belly, you can actually kinda see where the pylons and rails go, 2 more where the 530's are, and the Magic's which are on dedicated pylons for Magic 2's only.

Also, there's an IR version of the MICA as well.

If you think that sounds like cancer, just wait (hopefully at LEAST a couple years) for the Rafale. It will have the same or more missiles, IRST for full sneak no radar fun time, and an HMD. Not to mention it's rediculous flight performance.

The French tree in the future will be very fun tbh, and pretty unique.

you get it wrong mica actually come with fox 2 and 1 variant there is the fox 3 yup but i can also be a passive radar or IR. And also it can carry mica instead of magic 2 so basically 6 not 4. Also u can launch the PGM outside of pantsir killzone
