Injector Leak Back Test Volvo S60 D5

Показать описание

Functioning injectors should leak back less than 40ml of fuel in a minute (bottom edge of black tape).
Test shows injector 5 is defective, reducing fuel rail pressure and causing a cold start problem. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Using my Amazon links does not cost you any extra.

Idk if this applies to €3 but when an Injector has a high leak back rate, it could be that the other cylinder firing before it (if it’s 5 like here it should be 3 that’s bad) is injecting way too much and the ecu doesn’t really open the number 5 injector, to have a smooth combustion. If cyl 3 has too much torque then the ecu notices this and slows cyl 5 down. Idk if that’s D5244T4 only tho

Edit: I’m unsure if the firing sequence of a D5 is 1 2 4 5 3, then it would be injector 4 that’s injecting too much and the 5 will pull back
