Enjoyed the video. Check out how to rig a thunderhead sling. You feed rope differently than you did to avoid rings from grinding and rope wearing on rings. On the first limb you rigged could gave use the stub from the cut to tie off the limb instead of trying to wrap rope around. Use of stubs can work great as substitute for portawrap. I suggest you get yourself an Echo DCS-2500T for limbing work. I highly recommend. (I use a 2500 for limbing and a Husky 540i for bigger limbs and topping, ) On that Oak you could have very easily cut out a lot of the dead branches going up with the little 2500.
