As I approach the end of my life I have learned one of the most important things to learn to do is to let go of attachment to material things and that includes land. It’s an illusion that the land itself is important or holy no matter what any book or history says. Grasping anything at all too tightly just brings pain to yourself & others. Let go & let live. Of course that will never happen in Middle East where everyone clings so tightly to their precious ideas & is just so sure they are the only correct people. A place where violence and hate is sacred is never going to heal.
