I think I am sold on getting a Surface 9 as my EDD (Every Day Device). I am looking for something, that I can watch Videos, Training Videos, Web Surf and learning some code, with out having to carry are larger 15/16/17 inch laptop. I am still running on an old AW 17 R4, but looking to get a new Gaming Laptop and this Surface as a portable device.

I'm not sure. I bought a SP8 and I'm stuck between it being the best or the worst of form factors. And I'm slowly coming down on it being the worst. Mainly because the ports, and headphone jack are in the wrong place for a laptop. The power button, ports and headphone jack are in the wrong place for a tablet. So I've decided to return it. Good build quality and nice speakers. Though I couldn't find any use for the pen.

I would still get a matebook e and save money on the side . Surface devices are expensive for no reason . I have always owned surface since RT and Huawei matebook e just blows everything away .
