I use method 2, but the correct way is whichever you’re most comfortable with/is the most appropriate for the job.

Whatever gets you the consistency you need is the right cut.

My former head chef taught me the first one, and i have never looked back.

1 is what I use, 2 is fine, and 3... what are we, savages?

All three ways are valid. I'm a professional cook who does this for a living. However if you cut the bell pepper from the inside fleshy side instead of the skin side you might find it easier to cut.

I use # 1 if I'm dicing the peppers and #2 for julienne

1 is right, 3 is acceptable.

2 is ok, but seems like the slowest (though all of them were done slowly, so it would behard to say any won that way

All of them correct, I simply prefer #1. Cheers🍀

Well apart from which you like most I'd you noticed 3 has a completely different shape at the end so shape can be considered

Never even considered that first way.

I use #3.

#3 is the only correct way because that's the way I do it.

It depends on what you are cooking or preparing. There is really no wrong way to cut up a bell pepper.

Who cares as long as you get the cut you need and minimize waste

3 is best for yield, 1 is best for consistency, 2 is good when you feel lazy

Most chefs do the second way.
But it doesn’t matter as long as you have the same result (method 1 and 2 differ to 3) and you don’t waste any product

I use method 1, since watching your videos.

I like method 2, but method 3 has the least waste, so I respect it. Method one is the way fancy chefs do it for uniformity in their cuts, but it does produce a lot of waste. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I always used 3 since i mostly eat bell pepper salad but now i'll try the other ones

Any of them is fine, as long as you're using method #1
