I bookmarked this video almost 2 years ago, and today I finally had a project call for couching! Thank you so much for this tutorial ❤❤❤

Hi again cousin. I couch the same way. It is a lot faster than back stitching. I especially like it in organic things like faces and leaves and where there are long stretches of back stitching required. I agree I like it much better than the blockier back stitching. Thanks for sharing great to see you take care and, until next time happy stitching. ❤️ 🌹 🧵

Watching this a bit late. It is so very helpful. Your geishas are stunning and inspire me to stitch. Thank you for having taken the time to share your skills. I have a Dimensions kit (Parrot Tulips) that will require a lot of curved back stitching and your suggestion to substitute back stitching with couching was very useful. The loop start to anchor both threads is genius. Blessings.

I enjoy back stitching but this way looks better. I thank you for showing this👏. I know what you mean about the square shapes instead of soft shapes

Yes! I am not the best at backstitching. This will definitely make my cross stitch more beautiful. Thank you!

I completely despise back stitching and will try to avoid any pattern with back stitching. I’m working on a Mirabilia that has a little bit of back stitching. After watching your video I am completely hooked to couching. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for showing how you do couching and how you grid your fabric. I have always disliked the look of back stitching as well as having to do it. I am going to give both of these two methods a try. Your stitching is absolutely beautiful. I love watching your videos, I feel like I am visiting with a really good friend.

Thanks for that, I was doing it wrong, so have saved your video to refer to it when I need it ! I have never minded doing back stitch as it brings out the piece ! xx

Oh my gosh Mary Rose, I just tried your couching method and I love it! I got so excited about being able to do it and I absolutely love how it looks. I will never again dread back stitching again. When I am done with this janlynn kit called 10 commandments for stress reduction I am going to try your grid method on the dimensions gold collection kit called Christmas village ornaments. Thank you once again for sharing these videos, can't wait to see your next video.
