The art style sings WildStar to me. Loved that game. As a person that doesnt get all hung up on character naming/customization, I'm okay with what they are doing.

Game looks great and I love the art style. Big turn off for me is not being able to create my own character. I hope they add enough customization.

Being forced into a hero system is a bit unfortunate but it's good that we have a wide variety of customization for the characters. The gameplay and art style looks really good so I'm excited.

This one caught my eye immediately when it was first revealed at the last TennoCon for Warframe. I like how it shares a lot of monetization schemes with that game and if they stick to that then it will be a great deal probably considering that Warframe has always had one of the most fair FTP models on the market

I'm loving the art style, I kinda wish it wasn't a hero based player characters but your own customized player character, it helps with immersion.

Like a lot of other comments, love the Art direction and basically everything except the fixed character/class archetypes. Getting really annoyed of the class hero buy skins trend.

Understand why devs do it it makes it WAY easier to create and balance as well as monetize but individuality and creative are core identifiers in MMOs man

It looks like Darksiders because the famous comicbook artist Joe Mad is the artist for Airship. He brought the anime style to American comics back in the 90's (X-Men). Many of the dev team are from Darksiders 1 & 2. Battlechasers was originally taken from the comic Joe created back in early 2000s. Great team to head up this project and I'm excited to see what they create.

The graphical design really reminds me of dauntless, same style of graphics and that game is beautiful

I was intrigued quite honestly when I saw this originally but thanks to this wonderful breakdown by Force I can definitely say I'm very cautiously optimistic.

Also as an aside, it's great to see a semi-Indie studio continue to put out great games and build a strong reputation for themselves. It's quite a contrast to a lot of what we're seeing with companies trying to make a quick buck and using the incredible tools like UE5 to release suspect games like The Day Before. This is the kind of Indie project that fills me with hope for the future of gaming.

The art style reminds me a lot of Dauntless. I hope this turns out well. They seem like a smart company that is taking positive steps and building their wheelhouse. I'm excited to check it out.

I love everything about this. The gameplay, the art style, the world, the game loop, the devs. Not gonna hold my breath, but absolutely hope this will be a banger

Really excited for this game. Warframe has the most fair monetization model in the business. I don't mind the grind. It's fairly easy to get new frames and weapons. I have paid for primes and I have got them for free within a day or 2 after release. If they follow that model, as well as have a robust appearance customization system, I'm 100 percent in.

Still not sure how I feel about it, I love the art style but I just hope it is going to be immersive enough to get invested in it. not sure how I feel about not being able to create my own character either, though hearing it has housing does get me pretty excited.

I was saying to myself how this looks a lot like Wildstar and then you mention it as inspiration... not a bad thing.

It seems like they have a good approach to trying this out, the Warframe developers can definitely help them with Engineering and Networking etc because an MMO is a whole different beast.

Huge fan of Airship Syndicate so I'm there, but wow felt like we didn't have any new mmos for awhile and then now they are raining from the sky.

I feel like it's important to note none of their PR seem to be calling the game an MMO. Their Twitter refers to it as an 'online action rpg, ' they don't use the term 'MMO' anywhere in the Steam description, and I've yet to find where they call it that on their website.

Even when I corrected someone about this on Twitter last month, the Wayfinder response was "we're our own unique blend of spices and ingredients" rather than saying they were in fact an MMO. Just don't want people to go in with expectations that this is going to be a Massively Multiplayer game when all the info they've released suggest it's primarily based on instanced content in the Lost Zones.

Still a little salty I didn't get into the first playtest lol, but I'm looking forward to this one. A game made by the people behind both Warframe and some of my favorite recent RPGs? And then you add Joe Mad into that mix? Definitely hyped. The fact that they're taking alot of inspiration from Warframe's monetization seals the deal for me. Digital Extremes did a good job balancing monetization for purely free players, and if they keep that system intact for Wayfinder, I see myself playing this along with Warframe (and eventually Soulframe) for the forseeable future.

That weapon system sounds exactly like Guild Wars 2
