Installing vCenter 6.5 Appliance & Importing Hosts - 488

Installing VM-ware vCenter on a fresh ESXi Host. And importing some hosts in to the new vCenter.

Due to the cost to using VCenter and almost all VMware products I use ProxMox which is 100% free and works just as well :)

Never tried Xencenter? It's open source. Sure, you can subscribe for more stuff. Otherwise, it's free.

Can you do a tutorial of reducing the memory usage from Vcenter? That is the only reason that I am not using it. I use Veeam for moving my virtual machines.

If the package is going to expire then something has to be done otherwise the unit will stop working I think UBUNTU Server 14.04LTS might be the way to go.

My installation stuck on 80% RPM INstallation.. in vCenter console it says RPM isntallation failed .. how to fix it?

vCenter 6.5 can't use vsphere client but only web client. Did it real?
