I don't like leaving open knots when I make my tassels. When I finish wrapping the yarn around my tassel, I take a thin dawning needles and pass the remaining yarn inside. This makes it look more professional

Cute tassels, can be decorated at the top with so many different things to cover the end if you want to, I think these would look pretty attached to a thin ribbon on the middle of a birthday card.TFS.
