To the parents who lost their daughter's ashes. We had the same thing happen to us during the Campfire that destroyed Paradise and Magalia here in Northern California. During the cleanup afterwards, there was a group of volunteers that had trained dogs who search for lost ashes of loved ones. They showed up to the burned remains of the home where Mom's ashes had been. In the rush to get out, as the fire took over, her Urn was left behind. Those people did a search and the dogs found her ashes. The urn had broken due to the heat of the fire, but her ashes were recovered. It was truely an amazing thing to watch. I know our local news did a report on finding her ashes. I am sure its still on YouTube.

I'm from the Philippines, and watching it in the video looks like a scene from a movie. The wind blowing the fire seems so unreal, the number of houses reduced to ashes, and the devastated areas are shocking. I cant hardly believe what's happening in the most powerful country on Earth. America spent T dollar in defense but not ready on this wild fire
