My Shoei GT Air 2 is due for renewal this year, the things I like about this lid are venting which does seem superior to other brands. I also like that Arai aren’t forcing you down a specific route with built in comm’s unlike my Shoei. The adjustment on fit is similar to my existing lid and like all Arai’s there’s no internal sunshade (no great loss for me).
Expensive, but when you spread the costs over 5 years the difference is negligible - great review!

Excellent all round helmet. Oakley goggles fit perfectly and the helmet feels planted on my head, as it should be. Don’t feel my Cardo edge speakers, as there are deep holes purposely for them. Best of all whilst wearing this helmet and having fun, I feel one hundred percent safe. Great review 😊👍
