Great to see this. I grew up in Bed -Stuy Brooklyn I can actually remember a time when people would get their Shoes resoled/repaired and get Taps also lol. There was a Shop on Nostrand Ave that repaired Shoes and Handbags also. I remember the Smell and the Machines. Keep up the Great Work.

I love seeing a quality sole on a boot.
I had Vikram soles put on my combat boots in 1975.
They are still in great shape.
I believe they'll outlast the uppers !

The original Thorogood was more comfortable I bet. It's one of the most comfortable WORK boots IMO.

I sometimes wonder if I could just make myself some kinda crappy but homemade boots. The cost has to be more than just buying it but the hardest part I can see is doing the stich work. I bet I could make the best fitting boot I'll ever stick my foot in but it'd take me a year and cost me a ton.
