Path of Least Resistance has a HIDDEN PERK! BEST Voltshot Weapon 【 Destiny 2 】

Voltshot weapons are very strong on arc 3.0 because of the jolt synergies, but more so on arc Warlock because of the Electrostatic Mind aspect along with the Exotic Warlock Helmet the Fallen Sunstar, boosting your Ionic Traces. So we have to determine the strongest Voltshot weapon. Is it the Ikelos SMG, the Brigand's Law, or the Tarnished Mettle? Perhaps the Delicate Tomb? Nope, it is the option nobody expected, the Path of Least Resistance Trace Rifle. It makes the Fallen Sunstar Arc Warlock Build go insane.

There is another hidden perk with Path of least resistance, so normal jolt does damage with 1x multiplier which are mostly abilities but weapons have their own multipliers, so something like ikelos smg has 0.98 x multiplier meanwhile Path of least resistance has 2.1x multiplier.
If we have a volt-shot glaive in future it will have 3x multiplier so before dps you can apply it and then just use regular joltsource to have increased dps as well as ad clear

OK you've convinced me to get the last couple of patterns done for the Path ASAP - then level the thing up.
Plus try and get a better Fallen Sunstar for the Warlock.
Hopefully I can also get a build going for the Hunter and Titan.

I think Gunnora's Axe from Iron Banana can also run Voltshot. Pretty neat CQC voltshot special when paired with Threat Detector

when I run trace rifles I'm usually running double special. So, when I am getting kills, especially with abilities I swap to my heavy and green bricks drop. I see no need to run scavengers. Then I can utilize those slots for other things.

Glad to see this weapon getting the recognition it deserves. Howver I would recommend Stats for All over triple tap if you arent as worried about ammo. The additional stats far outweigh the ammo cost as it becomes an absolute lazer that can easily hit crits.

Gunnora’s Axe can also roll voltshot! Shotguns naturally suck in high-end, but still a powerful special that hits like a truck, especially with the perk

First, great video. I’m really glad more people are considering this gun cuz I love it.

Second, more fun stuff with Path. You can also do a lot of interesting things outside of fallen sun star. Warlock has loads of exotics that want you to use weapons that match your subclass and trace rifles tend to be better for those exotics for all the same reasons you gave for this over other jolt weapons. More damage without trading ammo economy. Verity’s brow, Crown of Tempests, and Battle Harmony also go great with path and overall I think it’s the ideal weapon for arc warlocks in general. Trace rifles are gonna be huge for the day 1 raid, bring some crafted ones.

Special finisher for special pairs well with the chaos reach playstyle. And with the (Although it's likely to change in lightfall.) Throw in energy converter (charged with light, using grenade grants super) and you have your special and super covered.

and for more ammo (idk if it still works but if it does the trace rifle turns into a primary weapon) use a gun with explosive payload and shoot to loot, this for some reason gives extra ammo, i believe the hakke scout can get this so keep your eyes peeled
