9 coal will smelt 72 blocks
1 coal block will smelt 80 blocks
1 lava bucket will smelt 100 blocks
64 coal blocks will smelt 5, 120 blocks

1 lava bucket and 64 coal blocks take up 1 slot

For the 7 one, probably is because that when u crounch, your hitbox gets smaller, but your jump one doesnt, making u can jump before hitting the ground
