Chris, this is so good! Loved your powerpoints. Have you read Rich Dad Poor Dad? Kiyosaki says something similar about assets: if it doesn't produce income (his version of savings, which we translate into stacking Sats), it isn't an asset. So when you do your personal balance sheet, it's ONLY investments/income producing assets...no personal assets...no cars...no watches...no personal homes (he does count rentals because they produce income/growth...maybe...).

Smart move to think about renting.

There are lots of great reasons to rent when living on a BTC Standard.

1) Bitcoin is a faster horse than real estate.

2) The State could seize your house via taxes or straight confiscation.

3) The Mob could seize your house.

4) Gives you flexibility, it’s easy to pick up and go when renting.

5) New building technologies could make a new place desirable and your current place undesirable.

I’d only think about buying when housing falls to its utility value or becomes a negligible purchase vs my stack.
