Even though it was released a year ago, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Apple Watch 2 Ultra have a lot in common. Both the Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Apple Watch 2 Ultra carry large batteries, but the Watch Ultra's is slightly larger at 590mAh compared to the Watch 2 Ultra's 564mAh. Even so, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is one of the most compelling Wear OS watches ever made and may be the catalyst for yet more rugged Android-powered alternatives to the Apple Watch Ultra.

Kind of a no brainer for me. It was $650 with instant $50 rebate so $600. Then they gave me $350 for my pro 5. Total was $250. I paid $375 for my pro from best buy a week after it came out on a restock all good.

Sorry the Galaxy watch Ultra has nothing to do wirh Apple watch ultra, Samsung relased this design back in 2015 with the Galaxy Gear Sports, you people need to do some reaserch before saying it, its actually annoying .

I have both the black and stainless version of the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.
Gave up the black one for the $300 trade in credit. Plus, an extra $50 for ordering through the Samsung shop app. $299 for the ultra was kind of a no-brainer. I'm looking forward to it.

I just ordered mine - and subsequently found out that the new Watch 7 series does NOT support reverse charging from the phone (S24 Ultra) and they highly recommend only to use the original charging puck and not the older pucks from like Watch 6 Classic (which I'm trading in) - due to heating issues - Not sure if this is really an upgrade ?!? 🤔 but I got an amazing deal which was hard to pass up . . . we'll see when I get it in my hands 🤲

Really, which one should you buy? Well, let me see. If you have a Samsung phone, go for the Galaxy Ultra. But if you have an iPhone, go for the Apple Ultra. Me, I'm a Samsung guy. I pre-ordered the Galaxy Ultra along with the Galaxy Ring, switching from my Oura Ring. Loving both!
