ff8 is my most fav ff. too bad many people hate it for its gameplay. it has so many great moments in the story. in fact i love every single scene in it. it's just fkn awesome. they should remake that with "updated" gameplay for those ppl and it'd be amazing! i can't believe everything is lost cause of a single song. for the very same reason they haven't released x-2 ost on spotify. simply cause of 1000 words. they gotta get into getting rights to those songs. it can't be like this.

I also saw a dev tweet hinting at 13 trilogy being remade, which I’d love. A remaster may be all that’s needed because some of those environments in 13 look so good, but a full remake would be appreciated too imo

Loved ff9. But what I truly want is an FF8 remake in the open worldstyle of games like Skyrim.

So much so that I've given thought to taking up modding just so I can try something like that- although I'm sure Square would shut it down.

Need a remake of VIII.. IMO VIII should had been the first to remake because of its controversial nature with some hating it initially.. fix the issues people had with the game and reintroduce it to those people. personally I loved VIII but think it fits the bill for the remake treatment
