I am a Canadian Pakistani. Lived 11 years in Dammam Port Saudi Arabia when I was a kid back in 1980s. Saudi Arabia is still like my home although I left it in 1988. Saudi Arabian airlines has still great & special place in my heart. Nice to see Saudia back in its original color & original logo. Best wishes and regards to Saudi people, Saudia Arabia & Saudi airline.

I was looking at photos of the old Saudia jets last week (Boeing 707, 727, 737, 747)(The beautiful TriStar 200 & 500), and said to myself “Their fleet looked so cool I wish they didn’t change it” and then yesterday, all of a sudden, I see this rebranding happening.

I should’ve wished for eternal youth or 100 million, but I’m also happy to see this old-times upgrade.

I took a flight to the peshawar airport a few weeks ago for the first time from IAD and it was a horrible experience. I travel internationally 2 to 3 times a year for the past 24 years and i can confidently say Saudi airline is definitely, the worst airline out there. The staff is super rude and act like the royal family. Found hair in the food, no in-flight announcement (broken), seat infotainment system out of order, headphone outlet connector broken, too much shaking. Overhead storage compartments keep opening with falling objects. Absolutely avoid this airline from anywhere to any destination.

Isn't the saudia lively an old one from the early 90s??? Doesn't look good frankly speaking. I prefer the current one...perhaps bit modification rather then going to the old one
