Soft touch plastic is awesome. I miss using the Moto X 2013. Glossy plastic is the worst though imo.

Lumia phones were fabulous. I had the 925 and my wife the 835. Windows phone was actually really nicely designed, very fluid and elegant. Just a shame the app ecosystem couldn't keep up with Google and Apple's.
But yeah, on sheer design those two phones still look sleek and modern now.

ive been saying this since forever. When plastic phone got scratched, i just sanded it a little, polish it if needed and its as brand new. Nowadays they could make it with strong rubber and make it even more resistant to everything.... but the customers would bash them ...and then slap their own cheap rubber case on top of it.

I remember my redmi 2 didnt get scratched easily. Now I am using redmi k50i and this got a scratch within a month. Plastic quality on the back is not that good with this.

My longest lived phone was a Galaxy S2. I loved that one and it served me over 4 years as the battery was also replaceable.

Flagship phones with Plastic build aren’t bad at all. But what’s bad is pricing them at 60K or above is. Especially Samsung with their Note 20 (non ultra) and S21 series (non ultra) … I’ve owned some flagship phones with a plastic built body like Lumia 920, Lumia 930 & Lumia 950 XL and they all felt extremely well built with their polycarbonate body.

I would really love a Lumia design plastic build phone even as a flagship. They felt awesome in hand and pavement bricks had to be insured in case the phone drops.

Never liked plastic phones. I miss the metal unibody phones. I had Moto G5s+ and it felt really good and sturdy in hand.

Times have changed. Plastic had its time. I still prefer glass or metal over plastic body phones.

Nokia Lumia were the best phones I used Windows 7, 8, 10 and the improvement they made were not worthy. Today all phones are bragging about dark mode but nokia had dark mode way early and nobody has able to match that till date.
