About 30 million real Christmas trees decorated homes this past Christmas. And about 30 million Christmas trees became kindling not long after the holiday. There’s a spiritual parallel. Today, Pastor Greg Laurie points out how to keep our faith from drying out. We’ll learn to keep it re-kindled by sharing the hope we have with others. Glad you’re along for A NEW BEGINNING as Pastor Greg brings us some practical pointers on effective evangelism. It’s a good opportunity to take notes.

While witnessing, I noticed a man next to his car in a Walmart parking lot. As I drew closer I could see he had a Hawaiian shirt on. I thought great, this is another brudah from the islands! I too am from Hawaii, so I stopped and began to talk to him. His car was broke down and he was waiting for his girlfriend to help him. So, I asked him if he knew Jesus? Well, he said yes and began to cry uncontrollably. He had drifted from the Lord and was immediately being ministered too by the Holy Spirit. I was also crying as we prayed a prayer of rededication to the Lord. This encounter I will never forget because it was not only blessed of the Holy Spirit, but was very emotional. After the prayer, we hugged, and this was dramatic as here we were out in public, but sharing the love of Jesus Christ! Thank you Pastor Greg for this message as it is so true. Sharing the gospel has special rewards that last a lifetime! God bless you all.

Good message on the Great Commission. There are 3 parts to the command but only 2 parts get talked about. Baptism is usually overlooked. Interesting.
