The first thing that comes to mind is using a feedback loop that is able to measure the width of the extruded plastic and adjust the roller speed accordingly

great project. combined with a DIY plastic shredder this could create recycled plastics filament. i looked at DIY bottle recyclers and with all three one could start creating stuff from former waste matetial! thumbs up! 👍

I just purchased the Kobra 3 Combo, and was looking for DIY Filament maker, this one seems much cheaper then all available alternatives. Moreover, in order to have constant 1.75mm filament, you may add WinFiDel sensor in mid. I am gonna bookmark this video and if I will ever get the time to work on it, I will try it out.
