What are the main differences between ITIL version 3 and ITIL 4?
Well the main difference really is, before we go into the details, is ITIL 4 is very much focused on providing vale.
The main drive was to change the emphasis ITIL 3 had, which was about delivering service, is now to look at delivering value from using these services.
ITIL 4 looks at the value from 2 angles and calls it co creation of value, so we've got value created for the customer who uses the service and, also the provider of that service - so this concept of both parties getting VALUE. So that's really the kind of, main word that you'll see alot in ITIL version 4, that's the big movement really from 3 to 4.
