To those who talk about the fact that Mbappe has a World cup and Ronaldo, Messi and others doesn’t : remember that Frank Leboeuf has a world cup and Maldini doesn’t. The World Cup is great, accomplishments at club level build legacy.

How can they still say that Messi and Neymar don't help in defense ? Do they watch the games ? Neymar comes back too much in my opinion, the only reason Mbappé doesn't come back often is because they usually let him up there for counters because of his speed. For all his problems, Neymar is a lot more selfless than people make him out to be, he's not a problem for Brazil so why would he be one at PSG ? These guys are talking with so much certanty and yet they don't know anything, they have no sources, they are just assuming, its really ridiculous. I'll be a pundit too, easiest job in the world.

Idk why are we comparing him to Messi.
Messi had 4 ballon d'ors by the time he was 24. He was on another planet.
But Mbappe has already won the world cup and scored too in the final at the age of 18 which is an amazing achievement.

I feel Neymar is the scapegoat. We all know that Mbappe has also been a problem with the past 2 coaches.

He doesn't play in a league which is considered tough and also doesn't have a rivalry like Real Madrid & Barcelona or Man City & Man Utd or Man City vs Liverpool etc let alone have another good/brilliant team which is just as strong and a title contender. Thus his performances don't stand out as much or mean as much. What made Ronaldo & Messi great was playing in the same league plus the teams they played for were considered the best and the rivalry between those teams.

Why should he do what messi does. They are completely different

I think a lot of people in this comment section have never seen Messi between 2008 and mid 2013 before his hamstring injury. Granted he has lost all his speed and stamina since then, but Messi was like a God of football in those years. Mbappe is great, but his comparison should be Thierry Henry not Messi.

Looking at Neymar's stats, it's quite surprising the level of criticism he has received from the media.
His G/A is still above 1 per game on the average.

Shouldn't compare Mbappé to Messi - he's not him and won't ever be, but he is certainly a world class player and will continue to be for years to come without being measured up to Messi.

He can talk all he wants, but staying at QSG just showed he's got the mindset of a small player. Dominating ligue 1 with QSG impresses no one.

This has been beat to death but I can't understand his mentality. Benz is leaving in 1 or 2 years, modric will be gone, kroos as well. The team will e brand new from 3 years ago. It would be his team. Cristiano came with humility after winning a champions league mind you just wanting titles. Boopie thinks he's already the king. He's taking a huge gamble, I don't see this team going any further in champions especially now with additional pressure and not addressing thus far major signings to cover the weakness. Thousemi was a blow. They needed a good defensive mid really bad. Madrid got a good one. This team isn't ready.

Why Craig Burley's name is mentioned in the video title when he is not even present in the panel and the statement is given by Steve. Missing him a lot i guess 😁😅

That excuse makes no sense Bayern win the league in March every year we could even argue they win the league with the gap they have from December. They just have the correct intensity every game and don't care what the world says farmers league or not they smashing it. Killing off teams.

Frank is right PSG need to maintain the intensity or effectiveness they play with.

No player should be compared to Messi, simple as that, same thing happened to Dybala, he said it best "people call me the next Messi, i don't want to be Messi, i want to be Dybala" this is the same situation, Mbappe will never be Messi, but he can create a new legacy for himself, which he will, he's already doing it
