Everyone on talksport saying they don’t care about nations league, yet when they lost against Greece it was the talk of the town.

So Cundy goes off on Ben White for not wanting to be a sub but says Mbappe is right to only want and play big games if he doesn't want to play every game he's out in my opinion doesnt care who ya are

this is why treble was considered impossible in the 80s 90s and 2000s. squad were barebones especially english and german clubs, only italian had 2 players for each position. fletcher keane scholes were suspended in the final for yellow card accumulation, so was nedved. 3 subs. not 5. for context rodri should have been suspended in the final vs inter and he scored the only goal. not every champions league are the same.

"Jude Bellingham played 251 competitive games before reaching the age of 21 in June, while ex-England captain David Beckham played 54 in comparison" (BBC 15.10.2024)

Cole Palmer hasn't even established himself in the England team yet. How is he going to be dictating what games he plays 😂

Can't wait for a Belligham saying he's only going to play in big games and watch the English fans heads explode....

I don't blame mbappe, if I was a player these days I wouldn't play nations league or the league Cup tbh... Don't think prem teams should be in that altogether really anyway

I personally believe the Nation’s League games should be for players that are normally not chosen. Give an opportunity to players outside of the usual elite, even the championship level players should get an opportunity to represent their country 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇫🇷🇧🇪🇩🇪🇳🇴🇳🇱🇨🇭

This is how it should be, players are the ones who know if they're being run ragged or can handle it so should choose to opt out of games and the clubs will be the last ones to take that hit, national teams will feel this first.

Whats even worse is Mbappe do care and only missed 1 game for France in years yet they making up all kinds of lies

Who cares. Play only the most important games as the best players. It makes sense. Footy is not about personal records it's about how many cups and leagues you can win for your club and nation. Personalilestones should come 2nd.

Then he should drop the captain arm band.

Another pampered generation player, who couldn't be bothered, so for RM playing against a team bottom of the league, that game is not big enough

The hunger to continue scoring with every chance and break records just isnt there. i dont blame Mbappe but that ladies and gents among many things is why he'll never surpass CR7

Last year when Ben White asked not to selected for stupid friendly matches he was termed as national enemy by the same journalists. Now when Mbappe does the same they are so much in agreement with him. Such hypocrisy.

If they want to play less games then they need to take a pay cut. Half the reason so many games are crammed in is because they need to generate the revenue to pay the ridiculously oversized salaries. Player greed is as much responsible for this as anything

Just wait for club players to decide not to play CL group games and only turn up for the quarters onwards

At least they dont have long flights. Think about south american players who also have 12 plus hr flights to play world cup qualifiers
