6. INTERLOCK + TARZAN 🍃

Day 6 of the Lettering Style Challenge is Tarzan with the prompt Interlock 🦍🌿

Thank you to my student Claudia for suggesting this fun style for the challenge! If you've been following me for a while, you know that this is not the style I usually go for, but I want to get out of my comfort zone! And for me, that means no serifs and no flourishes. 😝

Stay tuned as I draw 31 logos this October for 31 fictional characters! My goal with this challenge is to infuse as much of the character into my lettering as possible. I want the logo to be able to capture the personality of the character without relying too much on other design elements.

Disclaimer! I’m not recreating these logos because I think there’s anything wrong with the originals. I’m simply putting my own twist on these movie posters to work on my style.
