I had a fake dentist in my mouth. She drilled a hole into the top of my crown and into one of my bottom teeth. They had me sign afterwards and with my mouth caked in that fluoride paste. When I first came in they had high-fived, “our first patient.” That wasn’t even the first red flag, it was the plastic sign half blown over this hole in the wall and a girl in scrubs on her hands and knees scraping the base of the windows. She was the oldest assistant there and eventually the third one in my mouth as they struggle to take an X-ray. 30 X-rays- I came in about one tooth with a filling that had popped out. I was TRAUMATIZED. When I finally saw a real one, I couldn’t even bring myself to explain to her why I was in my condition and obvious distress.
