Fix - Need Apple ID verification code when Setting up your new iPhone ?

Not receiving Apple ID verification code ?? If you are setting up new iPhone but unable to receive the verification code for your Apple ID because your iPhone not active yet to receive SMS message? this video show you how to get verification code so you can set up your new iPhone, restore from iCloud or restore from iTunes backup.

This worked!!! Thank you soo much. I'll add a touch of clarity that I see a lot of comments don't understand. You need to get the NEW phone working with sim card but NO appleid... so then the code goes to the new phone with SMS Text (not iMessage). It took me a bit to get the new phone accepting calls but that was from service provider. I kept testing as to when the NEW phone could make a call out and accept one in. Note: it will only accept text messages that are SMS Text - not iMessage (because there is no AppleId signed in). I hope this adds some clarity.

This doesn't make sense. How are you able to get that first 6 digit access code if you can't access your old phone. THATS many of our problems.
