I have owned a Ryobi drill for maybe 10 years now and it works flawlessly.

I think for general homeowner use Ryobi stuff is fine. And I've had really good luck with their drills, even the old blue ones

Ryobi drills are awesome! I’ve build so many things with them. Including my entire front porch! They’re awesome!

For my purposes, Ryobi is just fine for me. I'm not a pro, so I don't use their drills on a day to day basis. The one thing I do like about Ryobi is the battery platform, which hasn't changed since I bought a Ryobi 18v hammer drill about 20 years ago. The original batteries obviously can't hold a charge any more, but the lithium batteries I got with my 6-piece set do fit, so that's a definite advantage.

The drills are fine. They were able to handle 8 inch Lags into word just fine.

I was helping my dad clean up his house in galveston this week after Beryl. He’s a ryobi guy, so he had one of those little cordless chainsaws, idk what you call them. It worked pretty good, far as i can tell 👍

We had to cut up a tree that fell in his yard, and the fence was totally destroyed. Thankfully no serious damage to the house.

The Ryobi 40v brushless 20in mower is pretty darn good. Mowed down about a half acre of waist-high buffalo grass in two battery charges. Bought it from a vendor for $200 with a 6hr battery. Couldn’t be happier with it.

The 18v pole saw is very decent. I like some ryobi stuff for tools that i only need to use infrequently and theyre great for loaning to friends

I've got their HP hammer drill and thing puts in the work, just the other day used it to mix 12 bags of concrete with a 8ah battery and didn't miss a beat 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I’ve had the Ryobi impact drill for 5 years now and it’s an absolute beast. Still holds charge perfectly and does the same work my Milwaukee can do all day. Just saying

I love my Ryobi brushless drill and driver. Works great and I’ve done projects with that alongside my brother in law who owns dewalt, neither of us noticed a single difference in quality. I can only speak for the weekend warrior, and for the WW, Ryobi brushless is fantastic.

Dude I am a commercial and residential electrician. I have been using my ryobi cordless tools for over five years. I use my impact and drill to rough in houses no problem drilling studs or joists. I can make a 4ah battery last all day. Drilling with 7/8’s paddle bits. If you’re not an idiot forcing the tool and let it do its job. It will perform as well as any other.

Swapped from makita to ryobi. Can't beat the range on the battery platform. Never had issues

Owned a Ryobi drill for years & never had a problem. Rebuilt two decks, added a ramp, built various bits of furniture, etc. Not saying it's good enough for a professional carpenter but pretty much any home usage is fine.

16g and 18g nail guns are good and fit into places better than the dewalt.

A few weeks ago, a friend gave me two Cryobi 4a/h batteries and a charger. Now im looking for at least one tool on the platform that isn't terrible. This helps.
