My GF is a flight attendant and im very sure that she would appreciate this quote a bit. At the same time. It might make some passengers a little irritated because "they cant get their way" so its a bit of a double edge sword.

You have to take your shoes off, Jackets, belts, place everything in a tray. Can't bring liquids. You know the routine.
ETOH should be limited to two drinks.
Enforcing it will be a diffrent subject.
Yes, I have been doused with alcohol while waiting to board. airplane. They didn't let the lady get on the plane.
Was not a great way to met the people on the other end picking me up.

It's a great idea!! I cringe at the fact that I used to drink excessively in public. It was not who I was. I haven't had a drink since May of 2019.

There is a serious problem with passengers loading up on the drinks at airports, then acting out in drunken anger/brawls as they attempt to board planes. If you check out YouTube you'll find dozens of such incidents in airports. Something has to be done.

I wonder if Michael O’Leary will take the lead on this by not selling alcohol on Ryanair flights. Both inflight and duty free sells. I suspect not - impact sales and profit.
Also I think this two drink limit would be very hard to enforce as there is often more than one bar in the airport terminal.

I love Dublin airport is like a big pub before your flight, the only problem is you have to leave the airport party and take your flight. Always I pray my flight to be cancel... Lot of fun in Dublin ❤

I agree but it should be differently done for flyers with longer lay overs. If im stuck on a 4+ hour layover I'm having a beer with a piece of red meat and a couple Caesars while killing time reading or staying entertained.
