[LG Refrigerator] - How to test the door switch

This video shows how to test the reed switch using a (small) magnet.
Testing the switch may help to check if the door closing is recognized. The Door alarm should stop and the fridge room light should turn off.

Note that some models also have a switch for the freezer door. If the fridge room light turns off as in the video, but the Door alarm continues, test the magnet in the upper part of the freezer too.
