I will say this, this woman was LUCKY that Kanade was a gentle person, cause had it been another person's infant, they would've lost it. Some parents can get naturally aggressive when it comes to protecting their children. As they're not above nor afraid of putting their hands on anyone that threatens them.

Honestly, in a real world scenario they'd skip the dramatic speeches and just grab her, probably out of reaction someone would have hit her on the spot and call the police. And if she used the excuse she did, someone would have gone "You do realise hitting a baby could cause serious brain damage and impact they're development if they're that small, right? Possibly even kill them. You'd get charged with serious penalties, fines and endangering/abuse to a minor would be serious offences on a criminal record".

Babies have energy to cry for a reason, infants can become anxious, hungry, scared or cranky when they're sleepy. As for that crazy woman like that blue haired woman, hitting a baby will only make it worse and hitting a baby is a assault. That's no way to make a baby stop crying. And that blonde guy is right, babies cry in order to tell their moms that they wanted attention or trying to tell them something.

As much as I do get annoyed with a crying baby, hitting them is crossing the line.
Its our job as an understanding adult to try to figure out wht it is trying to say, babies r very delicate, if u think hitting a baby is gonna solve the problem then something is definitely wrong with in ur head.

My dad hate when babys he don't know start crying, it make him start to feel anxious but even he knows that hitting a baby is never a solution, discipline a kid when they're doing wrong: maybe, but hitting a baby that it's still to delicaded for even move to hard: that's horrible.

A crying baby on a crowded bus is annoying *but* to hit that baby is absolutely unforgivable!! The elderly couple on the bus had been really kind and understanding 😊 That the other people only scolded the blue haired woman and started a discussion with her (instead of braking her some bones as punishment for hitting the baby or at least call the police to get her arrested for asault) is ... hmmmm ... far away from reality 😉

Gosh if I ever see someone smacking a baby like that that it is not even hers or his I will beat her/him to a bloody pulp! How could they? As the nice "scary" man said it was the job of the little toddler to cry for a good reason, she was nervous, hungry or simply needed attention. At the end he gave her a little Puni making her giggling with happiness much to the merriment and happiness of the people in the bus. Also the lady that slapped her said sorry. I've been lucky because years ago my little boy rarely cried unless hungry or sick but otherwise was always giggling! A true giggling machine that I will always cherish it in my memory ♥
