I'm gonna say SA1 just because it only uses 2 buttons and a joystick, so a mobile port wouldn't be too difficult with touch controls.

In retrospective, when Sonic 3 Air finally came to phones, it was a pretty fun experience, and i havent played the original s3&k since then.

Sonic Forces Speed Battle isn't like a great game, but I go INSANE over alternate outfits for characters, especially if they're weird or silly
I hate gatchas but god I love that they allow characters to get so many new looks

The Sonic 1 and 2 SMS remakes along with the Sonic 3 (Chaos + Triple Trouble) SMS remake are also very good.

One of the fangames I would love to play is Sonic Time Twisted. It was the first Sonic fangame I’ve ever played, and I love it! I’ve got to replay it sometime.
The fact that it’s a 2D game could make it a good fit!

My sonic folder consists of sonic 1, 2, cd, 3 air, and then the fan remakes of 8-bit sonic 1, 2, and chaos. Might get the triple trouble remake.
