I saw Sonic 2 today and enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed Idris Elba's performance as the voice of Knuckles. He did such a fantastic job of making Knuckles seem so intimidating.

I just got back from watching Sonic 2, and I cracked up loudly when Eggman says "I can show you the way". Nobody else laughed and I got some questionable stares, but it was awesome! 🤘🏼

One of my favourite references in this movie is when the gang suggests going out to get ice cream and Knuckles asks if it comes with grapes, referencing the fact that grapes are Knuckles’ favourite fruit.

I just think it's neat that they decided to reference something so small. The people who made this movie are clearly either fans of Sonic, or people who spent a long time researching the franchise to make something that fans would enjoy.

I think the best thing in the movie is the amount of references in the Sonic franchise. The directors are true Sonic fans

The sequel definitely did better than the first movie definitely can’t wait to see how Sonic 3 and even the upcoming Knuckles Spin off project raises up the stakes for video game movies to succeed at it’s best especially with that the Sonic brand and Sega have in mind for what’s yet to come.

It’s when Super Sonic knocks over the demolished Death Egg Robot by tapping his foot, just like what he did when knocking down a robot in the opening cutscene of the Sonic story in 2006.

Something I'm not seeing anyone mention is the scene where Sonic and Tails enter the bar(?) in Siberia

Tails tries to use one of his gadgets to translate his words and speak for him when ordering food, but the translator keeps saying the wrong things

Just like how, for a majority of Sonic Colors, Tails' translator keeps mistranslating what the Wisps say

WatchMojo forgot the part when Sonic and Tails are having a dance off, Sonic does the signature Sonic Adventure pose. It is a reference to the box art for the original Sonic Adventure on the Sega Dreamcast.

The voice Robotnik has when he gets the emerald is a reference to the Saturday morning cartoon.

I see no one mentioning Knuckles using his downward dive attack to catch up to Tails and Sonic in the car chase. He was struggling to keep up until they hit a downward slope :)

You forgot to mention that moment where Sonic sucks that air bubble underwater when he was saving Knuckles, just like in the games when he needs to breathe, as well as him reacting when he's near drowning.
