So Mass Effect was thrown under the bus to create a destiny clone for EA. That means EA has murdered yet another beloved deleoper out of mindless greed. Just like Maxis and many others.

To me, it just sounds like it's one of those plots where the outside is dangerous but there's more too it and while inside the wall, it's safe but riddled with conspiracies.
And now that you mentioned Attack on Titan, I can see the parallels. I've never watched AoT, but I've seen clips and Anthem does look like a sci-fi/fantasy ripoff of AoT.

Live service means you'll be paying for that game until you tire of it.
