ANTHEM, BioWare's Shooter Looter officially releases today on ALL Platforms (PS4, XBOX ONE & PC). With Negativity surrounding impressions and reviews, is it really that bad? Did the Day 1 Patch Fix it?

A game is good if you're enjoying it, it's that simple. I played and loved D2 throughout year 1 when the game was at its worst, but I was enjoying myself. If people are enjoying Anthem them good for them. I guess the point I'm trying to make is gaming is objective.

I’m about 50-60 hours in and power 470. I’m loving anthem but I’m a sucker for grindy games. I need a strong progression in the games I play and this game gives me that. Despite the negative reviews I am having a lot fun.

Three server disconnections just today... very basic features missing at launch... and oh my god the loading screens!!! This is a wait for a sale at best.

Some of the problems Anthem got, cant simply get patched out.

The horrible loadingscreens is a clear design issue, i cant really think of a good thing that comes with having 4-5 loadingscreens every mission, and 2 loadingscreens for changing weapons and skills / abilities.

If part of the LOOT is weapons then the weapons need to feel good.

Getting in game currency is easy at first but after you've done the majority of the challenges it changes ALOT. After that you basically have the daily, weekly and monthly challenges and that is not much when an armor pack cost like 60 000 coins.

From what i understood Skill up didn't meant that cooldowns are to short. He meant there isn't enough abilities and synergy. It feels like diable with just 2 abilities unlocked at your skill bar and no cooldowns to compensate for that. There's no complexity and the game suffers because of that. And i kinda agree, would be better if we could at least swap between 2 presets and have access to 4 abilities, 2 at a time.

Even after the day 1 patch Im STILL getting the audio bug and the infinite loading bug. That's not good.

The gameplay is literally the only reason I have been playing for the last two days.. the flying & combat & team work on harder difficulties has made it fun for me and my friends.. (for now).. til we run out of content of course. I just hope they hurry with their “live service” and add more to it soon cuz with no raids or nothing, the fun won’t last long.

I played for a few hours this morning! I actually enjoyed the gameplay!! But, the loading screens are a bit long!! But, it's a hell of a lot better then the demo!!

The flying, the verticality, the suit movement and the combat are great and very unique. its obviously not perfect, hope load screens get fixed but the core gameplay is better than most. Ill leave the internet to be worried about what other people think of the game, me n my buddies are having a blast.

They need to copy the loot system of Borderlands. Lots of variations and ways that offer exclusive and super rare loot. That keeps any grinding alive for years

I love your non-biased opinions on the different games, and your reasonings behind them. Keep up the good work man! I played the hell out of The Division and loved it, while trying to stay away from the PvP because PvP is not my thing, even in Destiny 1 & 2. But This game will definitely have some amazing updates in the future, I'm sure. ^_^ Thanks again for the content my guy.

I’ve had a pretty shit first day. I got to the third mission then game freezes when I activate ultimate. Once it unfreezes no audio then it freezes again and I just had to restart to play but then it wouldn’t let me play for an hour. Finally it was fine. Played till one in the morning wake up next day but then it needs another god damn update.
