Chelsea are preparing documents to formally withdraw from the European Super League, Sky News understands.

If Chelsea goes ahead with the withdrawal it will leave just five clubs - Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham - in the breakaway competition.
