European Super League: Chelsea fan protests turn to celebrations as club withdraw

Fans celebrated outside Stamford Bridge, as the news filtered through that Chelsea are reported to be preparing to tell the Super League it wants out of the plan to form a breakaway competition. Chelsea was one of six English clubs along with three elite teams from both Spain and Italy who signed up to the Super League.
