- I came to the conclusion that fruitarianism isn't for me. However, I have heard about people who follow this diet and feel great and healthy. This probably depends on some personal peculiarities.
- Dietitians recommend adopting a diet that consists entirely of fruit slowly and carefully. If you've decided that eating only fruit is your cup of tea, watch the transition closely so that you can stop it if you feel unwell.
- Some fruits, for example, apples and bananas, are great probiotics. They help improve your digestion by feeding useful gut bacteria.
- Fruits contain fiber, and the fermentation from this fiber results in the overall health of your gut — your body absorbs all the nutrients more effectively.
- If you eat only fruit, you’ll have lower cholesterol, fewer problems with your cardiovascular system, and healthy blood pressure.

I went 3 weeks eating only fruit and nuts. I ended up losing 23 pounds. It was actually pretty easy considering I was already a vegetarian. Time to go back on it apparently.

Those 'bad symptoms' was a healing crisis. You dont stop when you get unwell, you keep going. Fruit has fructose (natural sugar) not processed sugar. Fruit diet cures almost everything and is very beneficial

Just 5 days is not enough time for your body to adjust to the change in diet. After about 2 weeks you should be adjusted to new diet.

I'm on day 4. I've literally only ate apples bananas and an occasional orange when I'm craving something other than water. When I started on Monday I weighed 229. My weight today was 217.6 I do 45 minutes of incline walking on the treadmill everyday so a lot of that is water weight. But even after rehydrating I'll only go up to about 220. So I'm loving the results. I'm interested to see if I can will myself to go longer than the 5 days.

Yes I will tell you the reason of constant bathroom intervals it's because our intestines carry a lot of waste than you can imagine which could be as old as a month so when you go on a fruit diet you body starts cleansing itself ❤️

I just finished 31 days of high watery fruits only! The first few days detox symptoms after that I felt fantastic!!! Lost weight and inches, clarity, energy and great mood! Definitely a wonderful detox!

I did this for two weeks, had no pain in my gut, headache first few days, a lot of fatigue and muscles loss weight loss too but I could concentrate and that helped me pass my music exams!!!

I am Indian and in India it's normal to only only fruits in festivals for 10 days. So, I am also doing it and it's been 6 days and I feel very light and my skin is glowing and also I have lost 3kgs till now. 4 days more to go.

As a vegan I tried to transition to 'fruit-only diet' but switched back to vegan diet only after 1 month, because I started experiencing constant lightheadedness / low blood pressure (detox symptoms). But I am grateful for the decision because it was during the 1 month “hydrating fruits only diet” that I experienced serious detox, and had my autoimmune disorder healed. I will repeat it once every year for health maintenance
