It's one thing to say something stupid at 15, and another to go to a site explicitly for adults and harass and bully a cancer survivor, and also without any proof.

I hate how they use their age as an excuse, there is a moment where age has nothing to do with it if you did something as cruel as this.

Is it just me or has this become a fairly recent trend of kids/teenagers who seem to think theyre immune to criticism and come barging into spaces they shouldn’t be in and attempt to play victim? I've seen this happen in fandom, they seem to think that people should cater to them alone and forget the rest of the internet exists. Yeah, I don't care if they're 15. Twitter is an open forum and if you make up things about people to get them cancelled you deserve every ounce of backlash you get because that is LITERALLY what you brought down on someone else's head. Being a kid needs to stop being an excuse for this behavior.

We have TOO MANY cases of minors doing absolute evil stuff. They're not a toddler, they're frickin 15 years old. They know what's wrong and what's good. They knew what they were doing. If me, as an autistic 11 year old (speaking in past tense) knew how bad false allegations were and about cyberbullying, even though my iq wasn't stellar, there's no excuse for them.

I feel sorry for the artist; for the teen, not so much. Being a minor doesn't absolve you from consequences. Without punishment or correction, you're just approving of their mistakes.

Not long ago I saw an artist get bullied off of Twitter. I don't understand why Twitter has to be toxic, it was an art piece for someone special and because one person said it was AI, they got harassed for hours and even got doxed. The even worse part was that proof was shown that they drew it. Why do [people always go out of their way to make life miserable for others?

As an 15 year old artist Im so disgusted, these idiots on twitter are going ahead with bullying an 18+ artist for the dumbest reasons and then they play the victim when they get called out💀 these kids in social media sometimes can be worse than real life bullies, btw I feel bad for the artist this is not the first time I see an artist quitting drawing because of twitter....

At this point, this person isn’t a “weirdo” . . .

they’re genuinely ignorant and impulsive to a dangerous degree. This is why children shouldn’t be on spaces like twitter. It teaches them that being a piece of sh** and not taking accountability is okay.

(Edit: I just found out that the allegation that the person had cancer was called misinformation by the very person who alleged the information. My bad.

That being said, this person still has severe mental health issues that are only going to be worsened by this.

This is why we go to professionals instead of spreading allegations on Twitter.)
