Hi Mike, I also was once a opposite of a plant guy. I touch it and it dies. But no longer, that has changed dramatically, I bought a 10 tube, 90 hole hydroponics system. If you stick a plant in one of those hole it grows like a demon, fresh growth in every part of the plant. I can send pictures if you like, System costs around 100 bucks takes up almost no space and is magical when it comes to plants.

I want to reccomend a fish store in Mill Hall, PA called Calico Creek, not far from interstate 80 in the middle of the state. They have the most amazing java moss growing in all there tanks and they sell it for 3 dollars a hand full. They also have awesome guppies, that breed in their display tanks and prices are very reasonable.

It sounds like to me the 10% water changes per day extra strong lighting (high lumens) and lots of fish poop is your formula. What is the hardness of your water? Do you have any buffers in your system? How often do your gravel vac? You made a video on java moss and did not show any moss. That is weird.
