PEOPLE SAID NOT TO GO TO KATOWICE, POLAND

Even though people told us Katowice wasn't worth visiting, we went anyways and are so glad we did! The city is different than any other we have seen in Poland and we had a great day exploring the sites in Katowice. Sometimes before you believe what others say about a place, it's best to go and see it for yourself!

Każdy kto pisał by nie jechali do Katowic TO PÓŁGŁÓWEK. Katowice przez ostatnie parę lat wypiękniało. Ma swój charakter. Ale co jest dla mnie największą zaletą to ludzie mieszkający w tej części śląska (nie tylko w Katowicach)> Czy się to komuś podoba czy nie ale Ślązacy z tego rejonu (bo na pewno nie wszyscy) to zajebiście mili i pomocni ludzie. Ba, nawet policjanci w tej części kraju są milsi.

So i found this channel about one year and something ago, I wanted to go in Erasmus to Poland, just wasn't sure if that was the right choice (I'm from Portugal btw).. so after your reviews of Poland, I was sure that this country was the best place I could go. I ended up staying 10 months in Katowice and it was the best experience of my life.
I cried seeing this honestly, i miss that city so much, I miss Poland a lot.
So thank you, you gave me reasons to choose Poland one year ago and now you are making me happy by remembering my life for almost a year in Katowice 💜

Hi ! I live in Pszczyna its about 30 minutes from Katowice by car. There are also trains from Katowice to Pszczyna. If you are in Katowice once again you have to go to Pszczyna it’ s called The Pearl of Silesia. There is very beautiful park and castle. :)

Greetings from Katowice! Glad to see foreigners talking good things about this city! It is reaaally beautiful place to live. Katowice is a city placed in Upper Silesia - disputed territory during ages, territory that belongs to Czech Republic, Germany, Poland. Now you can see parts of culture from all this coutries here. Thank you for the video. My mother was born in Kattowitz in 1924 when it was a German city. The family then moved to Leutmannsdorf (Lutomia today). We weren't able to visit while my mother was alive, but we plan to in the near future.

Katowice is my favorite Polish city, I love it so much, I feel there like I'm at home, and I'm not even from there. People who told you not to go there, because it's ugly prooably have never been there or been there long time ago. You can find there a lot of history, green parks, historical buildings, a lot of good concerts, exhibitions, good food, good school, everything! People are ignorants, Katowice is the most beautiful city in Poland, propably in the entire world ;) have a nice day to everyone!

So cool! I loved Katowice! Great Museum, so entertaining and informative. Bummer couldn't go up the mine tower, great view. Hope you enjoy the dwarves. There is a Polish doughnut place a little ways off the main square. Open all day, always a line and what ever is fresh when you get to the window is what you pick from. So good and I want to say less than 2 Zloty.
