I'm a software developer, I have seen many developers from netflix give talks on how they solve big problems they had from the technical side, I have never seen a single one from Disney, maybe because Disney won't let them but that tells me, they are not hiring the best talent when it comes to creating a software platform.

Disney floundering as Universal cleans their clock with Epic Universe development compared to the total failure of their Epcot revitalization. What's going on in California is just another example of how rudderless and unfocused management is. When you replace a generation of artists and technologists from the entertainment industry with investment bankers without a clue about the entertainment industry you get the Walt Disney Company we have today. Making your main corporate goal investor happiness ended up making no one happy, especially investors.

Interesting thing about Deadpool, the setting was "Some other Earth, not Earth 616 where the main MCU is." That puts context on Disney announcing RDJ the opening weekend of Deadpool. I watched too many of videos about this stuff, but apparently, there were a lot of fights behind the scenes of Deadpool.
