Ugh, why must they retcon the lore to include men!? I was fine with them retconning the lore to include Rogal Dorn tanks and a civilisation of space dwarfs that had suddenly always been there, but boys looking after the ailing Emperor? Men just don't have the nurturing instincts for such a role, it's science! They should at least make the armour more masculine on the mascstodes, like I saw this one STL proxy seller who gives them all bare chests and big codpieces and bow ties and it's SO much better. You know, if you're going to unrealistically have boys in a wargame, they should at least be eye candy, amirite?

This video made me realize that custodes wear the female stormcast thunderstrike chestplate. Cause if aos taught me anything, it's that girls wear non-split chestplates, boys wear chestplates shaped like two big separate honkas, and enbies wear a scarf over their chestplates

They can't just go and retcon the lore like this. What do the writers think 40k lore is? Some kind of backdrop for a game where everyone can just make up their own characters and factions and backstories? 40k lore is sacrosanct. Unchangeable and perfect. Next they'll tell people they can just come up with their own color schemes for their armies too!
