Word is you can apply for the DTV from a Thai embassy or consulate in ANY other country(outside of TH).

Hello, to apply for DTV under soft power, how long the course of study or training should be to get approval ? 6 month, one year ? For Mauy Thai for example?!
I want to Buy a course but i need to be sure first? Anyone know ?

super frustrating that AGAIN i watch a dtv video and the topic of obtaining a dtv visa by taking classes or doing activities and then saying muay thai and cooking AMONG other activities qualify for DTV. i want to know as many OTHER activities yet you gloss over that and AGAIN repeat 2 activities but inferring there are more. i searched including music festivals which are i think not really a thing in thailand. at least nothing comes up on google or YouTube. so…please dig deeper for a complete or expanded list. like SNORKELING and SCUBA. or even sculpture and painting??!

With this visa you can pay once every 5 years you just have to leave 1 day short of 180 days come back in 2 days and get another 179 days with no charge no immigration every 3 months.
