Magnetic Screen Door | 1 YEAR UPDATE | Mesh Screen Install

This week I am updating you on the showing you on the magnetic #GarageScreen that I purchased from #Amazon and installed about a year ago. Techincally this is the 3rd screen I've installed during that time, since the first two screen eventually wore out. This heavy mesh screen is attached by Velcro strips that are backed with adhesive. This screen is intended to keep bugs out of your garage while still allowing a cool breeze and convenient use of your garage space with the garage door up. This screen has proved to be so useful that I had to purchase and #Install another one at my house. I thought this would be the perfect additional to my garage since I work on a lot of projects in my garage. I am not sure you could call this a #HomeRenovation but the addition of this screen has certainly changed my garage into a move useable space and I love it!

Thanks for this. I had already purchased mine and was checking YouTube for hints on installation when the screen is too long (i use 4 of them on my gazebo and they are awesome - I just ordered a new one for one that was about 3 years old). I’m so glad I watched this b/c I’m not sure I would have checked the size to make sure it works. Needless to say, the one I ordered was slightly too narrow and would not have worked. Thank goodness for Amazon free returns and your video! Cheers from Ontario, Canada and MAJOR mosquito issues!!

Nice I was trying to see how to install and learn something on ur first video and living in Texas I like being in my garage and having it open but mosquito will eat u alive. And like a lot of people I don’t park my car in the garage use it mostly working out and just relaxing thanks for the info

You can save it just go buy axroll of velcro heavy duty one and longer tack pins also for tear buy screen tape for that long reap.

Do you have any recommendations for keeping the bottom of the screen from ripping due to it dragging on the ground? I applied duct tape to my last screen which seemed to help but eventually it still ripped.

You should have put it on the outside of the frame not the underside/inside. Or if you can, on the inside of the garage on the frame. This would eliminate that buckling you're experiencing.

There's another type screen that's better than that. I think its called lifestyle screen. It has a frame its not loose
