It's weird that so many people don't understand what's going on with Daisy...
At this point she had a PTSD and suicidal tendencies (like when she was seraching for Ghost Rider so he would kill her). She's tired of people of people being close to her dying or people dying in in her protection: Lincoln, Reina, agents in Hunan Province, Cal and Jiaying... That's why when May said "we just saved your live", she answered "I never asked for that". She feels like "everyone Skye goes, death follows" is true because of how many close to her people died so leaving Shield was her weird way to protect the team (you can sense that in her talk with Mack and Fitz from 4x02). Also her whole live she was interested in people with powers, she got powers and first felt like a monster, when she finally learned how to control them, she was possesed by Hive and forced to do things which normally she would never do, things that she's normally fighting against because they are wrong. The only other person who survived Hive's control was James and we saw how badly he ended up. I'm not saying that she's right or wrong. I'm just saying that you guys needs to look deeper at this because many people in this comment section doesn't understand at all what's going on with Daisy's character.

You know, "last stands" are much more dramatic and important when characters don't go "it's my fight" when they have a perfectly fine escape route. Last stands are about fighting against the insurmountable odds, not stroking one's ego.
