The whole ipad mini segment of the show where they were talking about how great usb c is for the new ipad had me laughing knowing they will just ignore it as soon as the iphone gets shown

Yeah they dropped the ball this year. You can tell they are purposely holding back features and updates.

Agree on the comment regarding face id - now I wear face masks almost everywhere, it is annoying to have to either enter the 6-digit code or have to take off my mask in order to unlock my phone like ‘every’ single time… touch id would’ve come handy as an option…

I’m sticking with my 12 pro max until they get rid of that notch. Apple could give all the missing features stated in this video but they would have less features to upsell on each yearly iPhone if they did.

The day that Apple drops lightning in favor of USB-C for iPhone is the day Apple loses any revenue they maintain on chargers and iPhone accessories, which in other words... is a lot of money. So it likely won't happen. We'll likely get a portless iPhone instead.

For me the number one thing I wanted was Touch ID - I’m not interested in facial recognition especially with face masks in my part of the world being our new normal and having to use a passcode instead would just be a PITA
I have a 6S that I have to charge at least 3 times a day now and was so looking forward to an upgrade but I guess I will wait it out for another year

I’m still on a xs max 256 and it’s working great. Battery could be better but no reason to drop 1200.. we’ll see what they do next year

You covered everything pretty much, under display or power button touch ID, ProMotion everywhere, reverse wireless charging for AirPods and a stylus for the Pro Max would be so nice, that said, I’m still waiting for a Fold-style foldable iPad because damn I want so much that iPad mini size but to fit in my pocket, with Pencil as well!
