Smallest Interchangeable Lens Cameras that I Love for Travel

Smallest cameras for travel that can change lenses for bokeh with EVF viewfinder and hot shoe for off camera flash that are lightweight and small are covered here. These are my absolute favorites so much that I have many of the same one. These are micro four thirds, APSC and 1" sensor with small fast lenses for blurry background that weigh very little. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Note- most of these cameras are no longer made so the best place to look for them is ebay etc.
My favorite small lightweight POCKET cameras with interchangeable lenses:
1. Panasonic Lumix GM1 0:46
2. Panasonic Lumix GM5 2:14
3. Panasonic Lumix GX850 3:29
7. Samsung NX mini 11:23

After watching one of your videos I bought an NX500 from eBay that came with two lenses. I loved so much that got a 30mm pancake. I found a 45mm 1.8 and really can’t wait to go out and use them. Thank you Marcus for the most practical photo information anywhere. Give my regards to Cara. You guys rock.

Marcus, i love how you don't discriminate with regards to manufacturer. You have started my addiction with all these small cameras. They just look so beautiful. Thanks buddy. It's ok, i'm almost retired and now i have time to rekindle my love of photography.

I absolutely loved my E-M10, it's my favorite camera of all time, it had the juiciest shutter sound ever.

I absolutely love and still use my GM1 as well, although my new star is the Olympus E-P7, it's tiny, yet contains a 20 MP sensor, 4K, 5-axis IBIS and one can do color and B/W grading directly in the camera, for stills as well as video! I actually use it as my A-cam now!

I love micro 4/3. I have GX85, EM10 Mk Ii, EPL-7 and 8 and EP-5 for small bodies. A6000 and Canon M5 and M6 work for small APS-C bodies. I seldom use my old DSLR cameras as they are huge in comparison. Always enjoy your emphasis on small, light, less expensive gear.

I've had everything from Pentax to Fuji and Minolta to Leica over the years since the film days...I've just now come around to micro four thirds and I have to say...it's more than enough camera for 99% of people whether they would choose to admit it or not. I picked up the Lumix GX85 while it was on sale and came with two kit lenses. I added the Lumix 20mm f1.7 ll lens and it's truly spectacular in results for a fraction of the price of many other camera systems and brands. I wish I would have gotten into these types of cameras sooner. My other camera have literally just sat in the bag since I got the Lumix and now I'm looking at other bodies out there like the Olympus-OM cameras, the PanaLeica lenses, etc. What a blast to use!

I love micro 4/3 personally. My go to is my Olympus EM-1 Mark ii but my backup is an old Olympus Pen-1. Great cameras and easy for my style of photography.

Your reading my mind with this video. This is exactly what I've been browsing on eBay recently.

Great video! Loved to learn about the original idea of Micro 4/3 and how it’s so different nowadays. Really makes you question if the new Lumix models are worth it

Samsung should have continued making cameras. Sad they stopped

Having watched your videos for several years, I have also been gathering small cameras, including Pana GM1, GM5, GX850, GX85, Samsung Mini, RX100M7 and Fuji X70. They are small and all take excellent photos & videos. As I travel only with ‘CarryOn’, small size and weight matter. Keep the great reviews coming.

Nice reveal of the camera bag finally. I chose the Panny GX8 as my travel camera. I love that it's weather sealed, has that black/silver vintage fuji look too, ibis (but not for 4k video), mic jack and hdmi. I was surprised it can also downconvert 4k to 1080p when i use it for streaming while recording 4k internally. I use it with my leica 15, panny 20&25 and 12-35 and occasionally my Voigtlander 17.5 f0.95.

My first camera was the Panasonic GF1, a micro four thirds system. Its compact size, especially with the pancake lens, made it easy for me to carry everywhere. It introduced me to the world of photography, a passion I had never considered before. While I currently shoot with a full-frame mirrorless camera, I sometimes find myself missing the convenience of a compact interchangeable camera that I could have with me at all times.

Thank you Markus - great Video! What a candy bag full of gear and so light!....Love your cam collection. My 'go with me everywhere, all the time', is the Fuji X70 (fixed lens), so small and tactile, but not as versatile as my 2nd fave for light travel, the Fuji Xe1 .... and if I want weather sealing and ibis, my Olympus em5 comes out with me :)
