Hey Guys, before you start, i know she is from the Philippines and i also read about her story! Angelica Hale a young amazing beautiful extraordinary singer WITH an amazing story!

Angelica will not be the next Whitney Houston, she will be the first Angelic Hale. She has almost 600, 000 followers on her YouTube channel., without a single song of her own. She has fans all over the world and we are very loyal. You really should track her career because it is a rare chance to get in early and track a superstar before they are a superstar. Angelica has not only the talent she has the personality, stage presence, the emotion, the heart and the passion to go along with her talent. I feel honored to be able to watch her as she grows into her voice. At not even a year after her AGT audition was televised, she has matured both vocally and as a person. You ain't seen nothing yet, seriously.

This young girls story is heart wrenching and so joyous at the same time that it tells you, Angelica is a miracle and thank God for her and the beautiful gift she has. To understand her song choices you need to watch her hospital story on You Tube each song has significant meaning to her and you feel it, with goose-bumps and chills and tears. She is amazing, she is humble and life to her is joy she does not take it for granted and she gives back a thousand percent contributing her time and talant to raise money for transplants, kidney foundation, Sepsis foundation, wish Foundation, UNICEF, first child representative for Kidney Foundation. Part of what brought the emotional maturity to her performace was the health struggles she had as a three year old. Many have negatively commented about how some contestents "only make it through because of their 'sob story.'" I don't necissarily agree with that, but, that's not the point of what I'm saying here. What I'm saying is, our experiences in life, whether positive or negative, has the tendency to help us emotionally mature and gain a different perspective of life. I believe this is what's happened with Angelica. Her early experience with health issues, I believe, have given her the emotional maturity to breathe life and create that emotional connection with the music and her audience. That's my opinion anyways. So, a "sob story" isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes it helps us to become better and more mature. Our pain serves a purpose - if we let it.

She was very ill when she 4, on life support for 12 days and in the hospital for 80 days. That has a lot to do with her ability to express emotions and have the extra maturity. Children who are this ill, at least the ones I know from working in pediatrics, develop a depth many adults don't have. She has one of her mom's kidneys and uses her voice and experience to help children who have her medical/kidney experiences. She started singing when she was two, listening to the music in the car.

When I first watched her I was thinking that her voice might be those cute little voices like you now since because how she talks xD but I was definitely wrong when she started singing she sounded so mature and experienced well to me at least

She resonate to the song because she almost died when she was young and survive a kidney transplant. All her songs were all her choices and always something that she can relate with. Check her semi-finals singing "Clarity" and finals performance "Symphony".The most recent at 10 years old at the Little Big Shot she sang I'll Be There.

I basically agree with you that many times a young child does not fully understand the lyrics. However that said even young children still experience the same emotions as adults, often just cannot express it. It is why with very young children the Disney songs work so well. The emotions are the ones they can fully relate to, understand and even have experienced. I have found, especially working with autistic and downs syndrome children, that they had far more empathy for others than most adults.
